Advocacy Priorities

  • 988 alignment both on national and state levels as well as funding and support all crisis centers

  • Training for healthcare providers, schools, lethal means education and training

  • Increased funding specifically for suicide prevention

  • Permanent extension of tele-health and reimbursement for that service

  • NVDRS:  funding for all states, funding for CDC to support real-time data collection, funding to improve training on data collection including SOGI and other special population data

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion:  specific to the Equity in Mental Health Act and looking at minority and other special populations
