We are dedicated to saving lives and building stronger families and communities. Through education, research, advocacy and a focus on young adults ages 14–25, Active Minds is opening the conversation about mental health and creating lasting change in the way mental health is discussed, cared for and valued in the United States.
AFSP's mission is to understand and prevent suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reach out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
AAS's mission is to promote understanding and prevention of suicide and support those whom it has affected. AAS is an inclusive community that envisions a world where people know how to prevent suicide and find hope and healing.
JFI is dedicated to the prevention of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators, youth workers and parents with tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.
The Jed Foundation's mission is to promote emotional health and prevent suicide among college and university students.
Samaritans USA's mission is to provide immediate and ongoing emotional support to those who are in crisis or have lost a loved one to suicide; to teach lay and professional caregivers and service providers the most effective methods to prevent suicide; and to educate caregivers, service providers, academics, those in government, industry and the general public about the public health problem posed by suicide and the best means to prevent it.
The mission of SAVE is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource to those touched by suicide. Its four pillars of focus are training, education, advocacy and support for suicide loss survivors.
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning young people.
